Music for Mardi Gras

Browsing around in the theme of Mardi Gras, I found this website which states some of the most popular songs of Mardi Gras, including "Carnival Time", the song we heard and saw Al Johnson play in the movie we saw in class. The website includes music videos for the songs that are played throughout Mardi Gras, but it also includes some of the author's personal choice of songs that relate to the season. It's pretty interesting how music can influence so much an event, or be specific to just one week of the whole year. Here's an example of the type of music posted on the blog:
