The Devil Baby of Bourbon Street is a story that involves Marie Laveau and Madome LaLaurie. So our creepy late night story begans with a Creole woman by the name of Camille would had many suitors, but would not marry any of them. she came to know a scotts man named Mackenzie Bowes who range passed he never talked had a strange past he never talked about. She fell in love and they got married. Etienne Matthiew was enraged by this he was one of the suitors she had turned down. He went to Marie Laveau for revenge. She would not take Camille life, but she did curse her for a price. Camille became pregnant. Camille mother and husband had night mares. Her mother went to Laveau for help. Marie said that a curse was on her husband family and that she would have to be in the room when the baby was born and her alone. The night of the baby was born Camille died while giving birth and her husband went insane fleeing from the house to the Ursuline Convert. The baby was u a normal baby, but a monster. Camille family didn't want anything to do with the creature for it was the fathers side that was cursed. Laveau took the baby and went to Madame LaLaurie's house. LaLaurie is said to have had the baby baptized and the two shared the baby until LaLaurie left. The baby was said to have cried and terrorized the French Quarter with its cries. When the cries ended the Laveau family was seen at the cemetery the baby was assumed dead.
