Here's an interesting fact. 80 million people worldwide practice voodoo. By the way, this does not include anything besides what is strictly considered Voodoo. No animistic religions like Dahomey and so on are included in this number. Anyway, on top of that, we all know that Voodoo has a close relationship with Catholicism. But, interestingly enough, the Church of Rome does not actually forbid Voodoo from it's followers. Nor does it encourage it though. However, I find it very interesting that the Catholic Church chooses to tolerate Voodoo and not other things.
