Saint Clare's Monastery is one of the last standing convents in New Orleans. It is located in 720 Henry Clay Ave., New Orleans. It is one of the few remaining convents that depict how life was back then for girls that went into these. Even though it was devastated by Katrina, like most of New Orleans was, it is clean now and you can go see it if you wish to see what a convent looks like.
