New Orleans Cementeries, Ghosts and Vampires

One of the things I repeatedly see in the web when searching about New Orleans is the cemeteries. According to this tour site there is a lot of history behind these scary sites. The site says that "the stories of the [New Orleans] people – their history, tragedy, and irony – amidst extraordinary architecture, unusual burial methods still in use, and decayed ruins thinly concealing human remains" are things one would see when visiting the cemeteries, especially St. Louis - the oldest cemetery with the most history. I personally would try to refrain from exploring these sites because of the fear of the dead, but for anyone out there looking for a thrill I think this would be a good choice.

The  site also talks of stories of vampires and ghosts that roam around the French quarter.
While this may only be commercial advertisement for NOLA, it's still interesting to find out if these really exist.
