Religions of New Orleans
I am from a rural part of northeastern Oregon. The only form of organized religion that I had ever personally witnessed prior to coming to school in New Orleans was Christianity. The first time I drove down St. Charles street was the first time I ever saw a Jewish synagogue. I want become more culturally aware. That is why I signed up for this class. I was raised a Catholic from birth until today. As far as any other religion that is not a form of Christianity, I am rather ignorant. I am already enjoying what I have learned about the spiritual churches and cannot wait to learn more about other religions of New Orleans.
