Krewe de Jieux

Krewe de Jieux is a free spirited parade organization dedicated to ridding the stereotypes that have
been thrown at Jewish People. Through laughter, satire, and holy intentions this krewe shows that
they are not the stereotypical Jews and not all Jews live through a life of greed.

They march with Krewe de Vieux before Fat Tuesday in a fun and eradicating parade.
This parade suits the krewe well because they are redefining what the outlook
on Jews really are.

The intentions of the krewe are to eradicate the normal impression of Jews in the minds of
others so they they can be truly free to live their lives empowered and free from fear and
persecution. The krewe also arranges events through the year such as the Rosh Hashana
Apology Party, Hanukkah Second Line Parade, Passover KreweSeder and the
Running of the Jieux during Mardi Gras.
