La Sirene and Ogawa

Okay so today the shop owner of the Voodoo botanica we visited today said something about the story of "La Sirene and Ogawa". Apparently it is a Voodoo myth that has heavy roots in traditional African religion. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find ANYTHING at all on this story on the Internet. Dr. Wessinger, I know you're going to read this, perhaps you can give us some more information on this story? I thought it would make a great blog post. Three hours later, I finally decided I was wrong.
