Atheism, Non- Believers, Humanist, and Freethinker

Atheism, Non- Believers, Humanist, and Freethinker in New Orleans is not usually what we think about when we think about New Orleans Religions, but there a several groups in New Orleans.  In fact New Orleans held 71st Annual American Humanist Association (AHA) Conference you can read more about this at http://www.americanhumanist.org/news/details/2012-05-atheists-marching-to-new-orleans-for-71st-annual-ame.  There is even a Last Dinner Club and Happy hour meeting for locals to come together and chat. http://nosha.secularhumanism.net/ is a great website to learn more about Atheism, Non- Believers, Humanist, and Freethinker in New Orleans and to hear local meetings they have.  One of their meeting has Dan Barker a form preacher turn atheist who is going to be talking about " Morality: What does God have to do with it" here is the date and place When: Friday, February 22, 2013 7:00 PM Where: UNO, Kirschman Hall-Lecture Theatre 122 2000 Lakeshore Drive, New Orleans.  The groups I have looked up seem to think that we do not need to belief in God(s) to be good it is dignity and intergity that we need to achieve this. I'm not going to assume all belive this, but I did find it person intresting how they stated this.
